Cover Your Bits Mania

It has been two weeks since Bits N Bobs Boutique was affected by the Louisiana flood. Since then I've been upping my crafting game. We have some really great new Cover Your Bits coffee cup corsets. Here's a few highlights in our shop!

Disaster Is Upon Us!

Hello lovelies! Our very own Andie Templeton has lost everything to flooding in southern Louisiana. We won't know the exact flood levels until possibly Tuesday, but we are currently guessing water levels are at least 4 ft and the Comite River will not be cresting until some time on Monday morning.

I have put together a go fund me account to help my sister rebuild their life. Scrapbooking is something that centers her, and brings her peace. I want to help her find that in all of this chaos. Losing an entire art studio and every supply is a very devastating blow. Any penny you can spare would be appreciated more than you can imagine.

At this time we are not removing Andie's scrapping items from our shop. Some of these gems may have been on high ground and survived. Until we know more all of her items will be labeled with "POTENTIAL FLOOD LOSS".

We appreciate all of the patience, and ask that you hang in with us while she picks her life back up and puts it back together.

Bits With A Twist

Hello Bits N Bob's followers! 

Today I have to share a bit of a sad bit. Our lovely Maria has injured her wrist. 

*GASP*

"What does this mean for Bits N Bobs" you ask? 

It means that she had to switch things up a bit and come up with this adorable little cup cozie!!!!

Sadly she has had to put the breaks on crochet while she heals, but that does not mean she's down for the count! Just check out more of these super cute creations!

And the twist?

They are reversible!!!!

Isn't the 7Dots Studios Thoughts Keeper paper AMAZING?! It makes the perfect frosting layer! This is one of my most favorite paper lines and I had an absolute blast working with it.

The border is trimmed out with tissue paper tape. So many images and fantastic graphics. And of course every cupcake needs a cherry on top right? Doesn't the yellow butterfly just pop?!
